The AWCC Committee is delighted to announce the exciting recruitment of Aaron Lund to our club.
Aaron, who along with wife Laura and their 3 young boys, will be welcomed to our club community for the coming summer and no doubt, many more to come.

Aaron is a fast opening bowler, who has a fantastic cricketing record here in Melbourne at Sub-district club Oakleigh, but also in Townsville, and originally in Darwin.

In the last 2 seasons at Oakleigh, Aaron has taken 40 wickets at 14.9 and it would seem he doesn’t like to rely on the fielders, but rather removing the stumps himself!

Joining his great mate Chris Leutton who was announced on Tuesday as another key AWCC recruit, Aaron will fit in wonderfully. A relaxed family man who lives in Glen Waverley, loves his sport and the social side of cricket.

With that being said, he is keen to win. “What Ashy presents for me and my family is ideal. I am excited about the chance to play high level cricket and contribute towards a winning team. Whilst my boys will get heavily involved in Juniors and one day, we will hopefully all play together!”

We welcome Aaron, Laura and the boys to our club and will ensure the chance to all get together before Pre-Season training commences on 12th August.
