All smiles at AWCC yesterday after fantastic wins for the 1st and 2nd XI! The 1s taking on Deepdene away showed class and grit to get their season up and running and now sit right in the mix in 5th position. Match winning performances by Chris Knights, Ruvin, Geemal and Barry and continued great form for Cam Lindsay were all key in the win.

The 2nd XI were undeterred with a few team changes, trounced Mont Albert to maintain their top of the table position. Daks, Gihan, Brad, Uvindhu, Nick Mac, Sath all starred at the beautiful Ashy Park.

No training this Tuesday due to Cup day but a huge session coming up on Thursday. Coach Ron was delighted with the days outcome but even more excited about what’s to come. “Great wins today. And the boys deserve it. They are working hard and there is strong belief in both sides. As well as the 3s, and our Sunday turf teams. There is some very good depth now and genuine competition for spots which is exactly what we want. Bring on Thursday!”
